A New Chapter

We have sold our house on Lorain Ave yesterday, after living there for 26 years.  What great memories.  We asked the Lord to use this house for HIS Glory and we were Blessed.
Remodeling to make it our home, which took all these years.

Thinking of what this sweet house has experienced:
Michael going off to College.  Melissa and Matt's Wedding. Casey and Colin were born. Church families and and dear friends. Children moved back in to prepare for their next adventure in their life.

Thomas starting his business in the basement.

Melissa and Matt moved to Champaign IL and Michael and Kristi Wedding.  Casey and Colin comes to Grannie and Papa's.  Benjamin and Nathan born.  Alex Burger from Bar la duc France lives with us  for a year. We got our Sophie (dog) and became apart of our family.  Christmas gathering of our family.  Michael and Kristi live with us while preparing for So. American mission.

Daily activities like looking out the kitchen windows, looking like you are in a tree house.  Watching the deer out the front window.  Living upstairs in the winter and in the basement in the Summer. The japanese plum tree in the spring.  The fish pond brought wonderful memories.

God's Glory! 

Our sweet Mom Robison has completed her assignment on earth and has planted many seeds with her example of serving the Lord.  

We are missing her but praying that some of the seeds will grow in fertile grown.

A New Chapter in the Rains Life.

All of our Grandsons live in the same town and next door to each other.  We are so bless and still getting use to having them all together.

September was a month of Family Bonding


All our children were able to visit and laugh together.  What a blessing to have them together.  It will be another to get all together.

Visit to Peru

This was a special visit because M and K are leaving in Aug for their new assignment. I have come to love so many beautiful people in Arequipa. It was so sad to leave them. Hopefully I will be able to continue to stay in contact with them.

Spring has just reached the Northern part of the US

We had a second look at Spring coming alive in IL. I praise God for his wonder and make up of this earth. A second beginning...
