Preparing for Christmas

Getting ready for Christmas, I went to the Giles Co. Library and made a Christmas Doll House. I have enjoyed finding little accent pieces. I would love to have the little men here to help them make their own.

Thomas and I went to the Campbellsville Frontier Days last Saturday and I met a lovely lady living in our part of the state, she was born and raised in the Ukraine of Russia. She raises sheep, alpacas and other animals. She spins her own wool. I bought a skein, she called the Circus Lights. I went home Saturday afternoon and crocheted a Hairpin Lace scarf.

Just returning from Peru, we have so many things that are hidden in our heart, family, friends, foods, culture, presence of God, appreciation for what we have and the awareness of we have too much.

Another Stage in our Life - Graduation of Grandson

As some of the family were able to gather for Casey Jordan Rains graduation, we were showered with pictures of his past 19 years. Our prayer is God will continue to protect him and guide him in his future.
